Michaela Tussey, Grants and Communications Manager
Michaela joined WNIN in October 2017 and has made strides in community engagement, public media funding, and social and digital media strategy ever since. If there’s a tweet to be tweeted or a ‘gram to be Instagrammed, Michaela is our go-to gal.
A graduate of the University of Evansville, Michaela holds Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Health Services Administration and minored in Business, Music, and Public Health. She has six years of experience as a social media manager and strategist and has worked with national and regional brands, hospitals, collegiate organizations, and now public media.
Michaela is a native of eastern Kentucky and ventures “home” to the Appalachian Mountains whenever she can. She is one of the city’s biggest fans and is involved in multiple organizations around the community, including E is For Everyone, Evansville Design Group, and her sorority’s local alumnae chapter. When she’s not in the office, Michaela can be found somewhere in the Midwest with a chai and her cell phone in hand.
