What is the GIMP?
GIMP is an acronym for GNU Image Manipulation Program. It is a freely distributed program for such tasks as photo retouching, image composition and image authoring. GIMP is a free graphics editor similar to the popular Adobe Photoshop. Download your copy of the program here - http://www.gimp.org/downloads/.
