Learn how to take your sketches or pencil drawings and turn them into fantastically rendered computer graphics or how to start with a photo and create a fancy cartoon image using the GIMP. What is the GIMP? GIMP is an acronym for GNU Image Manipulation Program. It is a freely distributed program for such tasks as photo retouching, image composition and image authoring. GIMP is a free graphics editor similar to the popular Adobe Photoshop. Download your copy of the program here - http://www.gimp.org/downloads/. Expand your cartooning skills with Ivy Tech instructor Nancy Lockyear. Cartooning w/ the GIMP is part of Teen Tech Week!
