Family and Friend Classes on Mental Illness to begin September 13th at Old North Church in Evansville. Classes are free and are designed for family/friends of someone dealing with bipolar disorder, depression, schizophrenia, obsessive-compulsive disorder(OCD), borderline personality disorder (BPD), schizo-affective disorder, post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) or anxiety disorder. Participants gain skills and information. Classes are offered by NAMI Evansville as a community service. NAMI is the National Alliance on Mental Illness. There is no charge for classes or materials.
When: Beginning Monday, September 13th for 12 Monday Nights in a row. Start time is 6:45pm. Classes end at 9:00pm.
Where: Old North U.M. Church at 4201 Stringtown Road on Evansville's north side (across from Alexander North).
