The WNIN 16th Annual Gala will feature guest speaker Don Gonyea, NPR’s National Political correspondent.  The gala is set for January 28th at the Evansville Museum. 

Gonyea has been the national political correspondent for NPR since the beginning of the Bush administration in 2001, and has been up-close and personal with the happenings of the White House ever since. His reports can be heard on all NPR programs, as well as at NPR.org.  Gonyea’s reporting has garnered national attention and recognition, including one that earned NPR a 2000 George Foster Peabody Award for the All Things Considered series "Lost & Found Sound." He also regularly contributes to PBS’s News Hour with Jim Lehrer, the BBC, CBC, AP Radio, and the Columbia Journalism Review.
