Education

Since the first broadcast of Ride The Reading Rocket in 1969 and the start of the Sesame Street Preschool Education Program in 1994, WNIN has made a pledge to support quality education in the region by providing critically needed resources to educators, parents and children. From the caregiver of young children to the classroom teacher to the college student, WNIN supports learners and educators with quality educational content delivered in ways that maximize the impact to the community.

Using our broadcast airwaves is just the beginning. WNIN is mobilizing new technologies, offering expert staff assistance, and creating hands-on resources to support learners of all levels in the Tri-State area.
