What Role Should Government Play in Green Energy Economy? Print E-mail

Last year, a renewable energy company called SynGest was exploring economic development opportunities in three Indiana communities. Meanwhile, projects are moving forward in other states. But for the time being, there’s no progress in Indiana, and SynGest’s CEO says the state’s senators are partly to blame. But some economists say there’s no easy answer to how—or whether—the federal government should intervene to make the market friendlier for green investment.
