The two men vying to become Indiana’s next superintendent of public instruction made their first joint public appearance in Indianapolis today. Before a group of retired teachers meeting in the capitol city, Republican Tony Bennett and Democrat Richard Wood each laid out their plans if elected to direct the state’s education policy.
