In early 2012, the members of two faith communities in Owensboro, Temple Adath Israel and Asbury United Methodist Church, came together for a series of discussions on faith, civil rights and The Holocaust. The historical discussions slammed headlong into current events with the killing of Treyvon Martin and the murders of a rabbi and some children in southern France.
