CAMP TV focuses on playful learning for students in grades K-5, with a summer camp theme. Each episode contains a segment called "Tell Me a Story," comprised of read-alouds of popular picture books, featuring children from communities across the country as readers.

In Summer 2023, one of the children reading for a “Tell Me a Story” segment came from right here in the Tri-State! WNIN selected a child from submitted video auditions to participate in the project. The winner was professionally filmed reading a popular picture book at a filming site in Evansville, Indiana, and the reading segment was broadcast nationwide!

Rachel from Evansville appeared on an episode of Season 4 of CAMP TV which was broadcast from many PBS stations nationwide June through August of 2023. Watch Rachel as she reads “Mud”. Written by Annie Bailey and illustrated by Jen Corace, this book is a delightful ode to rainy days and squishy, messy, mud! Head to CampTV.org for more storytimes and activities.
